When the waves are going off, the last thing you want to do is leave the beach, even if it's for food, rest, or to get a good night's sleep.
Wouldn't it be great if you could bring a camper — full of food, water and surfboards — to the beach, park, and surf your brains out?
That's exactly what we did with the Airstream Basecamp.
There's only a handful of beaches in American where you can drive on the beach, and New Smyrna Beach in Florida — with its compact sugar sand — is one of them. With fun sized waves on filling into the sandbar filled arena, we pulled the Basecamp onto the sand, parked and surfed.
The best part of it? Everything we needed was steps away from the lineup.
