I did the film because I wanted to make something longer and more meaningful. I’ve always enjoyed seeing free surfers save clips and then release them all at once. I think it takes a lot of courage and self control to do so. Those guys doing that made me want to do it the free surfer way. - Kyan

As an Asian American, I grew up on the stuff.
And, there are not a ton of Asian Americans to look up to on the professional free surfing circuit these days.
