Vaer & Outerknown Launch A New Solar-Powered Dive Watch Inspired by Pacific Surf Culture
Venice Beach, CA — Vaer is excited to announce the launch of a new D4 Diver, a new timepiece born from an organic collaboration with Outerknown, blending coastal California style with rugged functionality.
Founded in 2016 in Venice Beach by Ryan Torres and Reagan Cook, Vaer has consistently focused on delivering durable, American-assembled watches that suit the active, outdoor lifestyle.
The partnership with Outerknown, a brand known for sustainable surf-inspired fashion, is a natural fit for Vaer. The collaboration began with a shared passion for the ocean and a serendipitous friendship with Outerknown's Creative Director, John Moore, himself a Vaer watch owner. The D4 Outerknown is a culmination of both brands' aesthetics, featuring sea green accents inspired by California's Pacific coast and exclusive Outerknown branding on the watch's crown and caseback.
At its core, the D4 Outerknown is built around Vaer's best-selling solar-powered diver watch architecture. Powered by light and crafted for off-grid adventures, the D4 is virtually maintenance-free, requiring minimal battery changes and providing guaranteed waterproof protection.
Assembled in Los Angeles, the watch incorporates scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a solar movement, and an American-crafted design that speaks to both performance and craftsmanship.
